North Bend, Coos Bay Oregon is the place to be this spring. Come join the ride lead by the Perez Family. Its a time of riding and camping and eating and riding and eating and perhaps Ice teas! Below is some useful information to know.
Booking your campsite at KOA
When booking your campsite please go to the following link to access the North Bend KOA. Full hookups are availible for the smalles to largest trailer/Toy hauler. It is recommend to call the KOA number. For contact info click here. YOU MUST BOOK PRIOR to your trip and the sooner the better. Things to know.
- Oregon requires the purchase of a permit that enables you access to the dunes for two years. You must display an ATV permit if you are operating your ATV on public land (and even then, the land must be specifically designated for ATV use). The ATV Permit Fee is $10.00 (Most permit agents charge an extra .50), and it is valid for two years. The KOA Campsite sells permits directly from thier office. - An online test for minors is required to be able to ride on the DUNES. For information and to take the test please click "Oregon Online safety Course" You will be able to print a temp permit right away after passing the test to take with you.
- It is a good idea to bring insurance and/or proof of purchase for your quads when bringing them into the US. Even though we have never experienced issues you can be asked for proof.
